OUR STORY. In 1991, Kathleen McNamara opened her back door and started Kath-Cleans Launderette, providing a laundry service to the people of Ennistymon. Her attention to detail and friendly service quickly established the launderette as an essential service in the town. Now over 30 years later her family continue her traditions of hard work, good customer care and quality service.



Environmentally friendly dry cleaning services. In 1998 KathCleans Launderette & Dry Cleaners moved out of the back of our family home and across the yard to our current location, expanding our services to include Dry Cleaning. After 20 years experience in Dry Cleaning we have added Professional Wet Cleaning to our list of services, an environmentally friendly and fresher way to care for your garments.



Our commitment to sustainability. Along with environmentally friendly cleaning processes, we also use biodegradable garment covers. We recycle all plastics and our blue sacks are made from recycled products as part of our ongoing commitment to a sustainable future.



We’re part of the community. We have always had an important place in the community providing a much needed service which was especially seen during the Covid pandemic. As an essential service we remained open throughout the pandemic providing cleaning services to care homes and to those in need of a laundry service. We also have sponsored many local sporting organisations over the years with strong links to Ennistymon Football, Ennistymon Hurling, Sporting Ennistymon & Kilmurry Ibrickane/North Clare Athletic Club.
